Dance is so artistic, and if you don’t see the dancer’s fragility a little bit, it’s not interesting. With technique, there is always someone in the dance world who can do more pirouettes than you and jump higher than you. For me, this is not dance. And I wanted to be an actress. I wanted to dance love stories, and I wanted to cry and I wanted to laugh onstage.
